Greig Cowan is Head of Data Science for NatWest Group, a leading commercial and retail bank in the UK. He has led the transformation of how the organisation builds and delivers machine learning and data-led solutions to the organisation and the cloud infrastructure that powers them. Greig has a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Glasgow and prior to joining NatWest spent over a decade as an academic researcher in high-energy particle physics, working as a member of the LHCb collaboration at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.
